The blood of a Gentile and Jew runs through my veins, I’ve been a Muslim and Sub Saharan African too! Past lives, past groups my ancestors have chosen, But do I need to choose? If I don’t choose, will I be ostracized? Society feeds on the selfishly compromised! A bit of Asian and Meso-American as my ancestors crossed the northern Pacific waters, Your vision of me slightly alters. It’s not about blood, it’s not about families! Compassion and love knows no formalities!

Uncharted territory, A vast sea of unpredictability. My vision was obstructed by a thick fog of unrecognizable thoughts, And for the first time I couldn’t steer. In my darkness, I saw starlights!

Sunset on a field. Let Me Learn poems reads: I want to learn through the things that make you happy, And smile at the things that brighten your day. Understand what brings you sorrows, And know when to hold you till they end. I want to see you living through your passions, And watch them light a fire in your eyes. I want to listen as you tell me how your day went right before we say goodnight. I want to learn from you.

Poem Understanding by Fede Flores reads: I try to move, move towards the heat, But my heart skips, it skips a beat, Not my intention to oblige, I’ve tried to be, I’ve tried to see. Will you wait, wait happily, To be done, to be free? I know you’ve waited patiently, Thank you for loving, loving me. Foreign droplets fall on the ground, A family stopped by wind by sounds, It’s not a wish; it’s not a noun, Just wanna get away from now. Too much to do, too much to sway, I’ll be dancing anyway. Just let me be, just let me feel, I do not know if this is real.
